Insolvency
St. Joseph Chambers has experience in advising and representing companies and private individuals in insolvency proceedings.
We are happy to accept instructions on a variety of contentious matters relating to corporate and personal insolvency including (but not limited to) administration, bankruptcy, liquidation, voluntary arrangements, winding-up petitions, and applications to set aside statutory demands.
We also have experience in cases that involve insolvency as one of several issues. For example, Counsel was instructed to bring a claim against insolvency practitioners for the conversion of a high-value vehicle. We also advise on the effect of insolvency on contractual rights.
We understand that the financial implications of legal proceedings can sometimes be uncertain. St. Joseph Chambers operates strictly on a fixed fee basis, providing clients with a fixed cost and a clear description of what is included in the cost.
